What happens when the shops close at end of the day ?

It becomes a place to travel between the pubs and clubs and the autoteller machines and eventually a way to get to the bus station and the taxi ranks.

Residents tend NOT to venture here after a certain time.

High street spaces can have all the new signage, paving and street furniture they want if BID has its way but what is the long term effect of these spaces.

In Kirkcaldy maybe the pedestrian precinct should be extended to complete the whole high street as a car free zone?

Can the empty shops be used for something else?
