IMAGES AND PHOTOGRAPHS OF SIGNAGE SOLUTIONS AND CASE STUDIES FOR DESIGN RESEARCH PROJECT

Today is a production day. Over the last 2 weekends I have gathered a series of photographs of the road signs and directional wayfinding signage that lead from the fringes and main entry points to Kirkcaldy. Most road trafffic access the town from the Main A92 bypass road at both KIRKCALDY WEST and KIRKCALDY EAST junctions.
Based on initial observations it is clear that although there is evidence of wayfinding and directional signage, there are particular areas where clarity of direction is NOT clear.
The following post after thsi eentry will show pictorial evidence of these comments.
This is a page from WALLPAPER MAGAZINE and I have selected page 129 which has some information on architectural schemes.
The magazine has a very controlled style of page layout which is based on a 3 column grid but with images and text block interspaced in a grid frames of different but in ratio scales.
